RE: Impossible to play...

That means that the server is lagging. If the monsters can move but you can't that means it is your personal internet connection lagging.

RE: Impossible to play...

actually it'd be the same in either case, however if it's widespread and you aren't the only one feeling it, then it's server side lag.

Hi, don't whisper me please.

RE: Impossible to play...

Actually.. no. It can appear the same but if the server isn't lagging but you are then the server knows where you are and is moving the monsters along fine. However you aren't able to send packets to the server telling it that you want to move. Therefore you can't move but the monsters (which you can't see moving) are in fact moving and probably killing you.

If the server is lagging then the monsters aren't moving whether you can see it or not. Once the lag subsides everything comes back just as if there was no lag at all. So the action continues right where it left off and the monsters havn't gotten any closer due to the lag. Another form of server lag is where it lags in receiving your client's packets and this looks and feels just like ISP lag except it happens to everybody and not just you.

RE: Impossible to play...

Frozen if you use a router you should try opening up some ports, it works for WoW lag, i haven't tried it with heRO yet, but i haven't really had the need to. There are ports that you can open for Ragnarok online, try http://www.portforward.com if you have any trouble doing it, pm me and i'll help ya out.

RE: Impossible to play...

yes kadar, I know but if you're lagging bad enough you won't be seeing EITHER the monsters or yourself moving, though other players will.

It looks exactly the same from the tar- er I mean victom.
