Prontera Crash

Hello. I am finding that whenever I approach the southwest area of the central plaza near the fountain in Prontera, the game immediately crashes and exits with no warning. I have tried turning down my graphics settings as well as updating sakray and heRO. Whenever I try to log back in, I can only be in for a split second until I crash again (although if I can manage to issue a move command out of the area in that split second, I can log back in normally the next time, as long as I don't re-enter the area) If anyone can help me with this, please reply here. Thank you.

its prolly a hex dump, do you get a message with a bunch of numbers arranged like this

and so on?

You're missing some sort of graphic which is making the game error. Either it's on a player who's afk there, or perhaps the styla NPC or something like that.

Can you post a screenshot of your RO folder please?

i don't see the kRO client, only the sakray one, you do need both of those.

no you don't. If that's the full installer it should run fine; however, if you installed sakray and then the mini installer please make sure both sakray and hero are up to date. For hero, delete the file "neoncube.file" and try to repatch and see if that helps.

I used the full installation of heRO. Although, when I was downloading it, it wouldn't successfully download the 2nd part of the 2-part download

If this is the problem, should I download the 13-part? or is there another way I can just get the 2nd part?

Re-downloading the 2nd part of the download should be enough. Are you using the old downloads or Miss Pandora's newly uploaded ones? I know for sure that the old ones still work, but you will need to install the new patcher along with it.

I'm trying to re-dl the 2nd part now. They're the .rar files that are posted by Pandora.

Anyway, I'll post here about the results when the download's finished

Those files don't work without each other, you would not have been able to install anything if you had only 1 part of the 2-parter. Do run the patcher as Loki suggested, it might fix it ^_^
