The screenshot we are asking you is so that we know what is in your RO folder and what needs to be changed in order for it to work.

You can try the 1-file full installer, but it's a big download:

by making a new folder im getting rid of any mistakes in the patcher, or by comparing it with my old folder i can c whats missing from which folder.

when i was done downloading the full installer, it didnt do anything.

Did you unrar the full installer to get the exe? Then did you run that exe?

your firewall may be blocking the port RO uses to connect to your computer which will cause it to freeze especially in full screen mode. First try in setup putting it windowed if it allready isnt and closeing your firewall before you start it and see if that may be it.Zonealarm is bad about causeing RO to freeze when it cant complete the connection which may cause the whole pc to freeze when in full screen mode.


(i only scanned through the pages fast and think i saw where he/she was haveing connection issues etc .. i may have formulated the freezeing issue in my mind after reading the few posts i actually read heh.)

well, it asked if it should allow a connection from HeRO, and i accepted. i know its not the firewall.

when i said that it did nothing, i meant it got done loading the downloader,and it just exited out of itself.

its not rare to find i cant download a private server. I think its my computer cuz my friend can get any server he wants

Try a download manager maybe.
