Sage Quest Walkthrough

Finding the Guild
The guild is located in Yuno in the 1 o'clock direction (Next to the Monster Lab)
You can get to Yuno by using Kafra's teleport service in Al De Baran.
Once you enter the guild, walk forward until you see the testing professor on your left.

The First Test
The first test consists of you paying a 70,000 zeny entrance fee or handing in 1 of 2 items, I cannot remember the name of the items at this time.
Afterwards you must answer 20 questions on general knowledge...and trust me, it is VERY general.
Each question is worth 5 marks and you must get a total of 80 or more to pass.

The Second test
The next test is a skill's test, you will be instructed to kill all of the monsters within the 3 minute time limit.
As far as I know there are only 4 types of monsters that appear:

Fabres
Lunatic
ChonChon
and a ghost type that is like a Whisper

I suggest taking some healing items just to be safe, also a strong weapon...because you will be attacked often and it's hard to get your spells in.
Afterwards you will be taken back to the guild.

The Third Test
The third test places you with one of 3 teachers - my test meant I went to see the biology teacher Lucias.

The teachers are:

Lucias - Biology
An Old Man - Physics
Monocle Man - History

Each teacher will ask you to bring them a set of items, they have three sets to chose from.
Once you have brought them these, you may have to bring another set, Lucias made me bring him water affinity items then bug affinity items.

After that you will have to bring your teacher one of each:

1 x Feathers of Birds
1 x Animal Skin
1 x Trunk (just trunk, not solid etc)
1 x Squid Ink
1 x Empty Bottle

Return to your teacher, he'll have yo right a thesis (Don't worry the game does it for you) He'll then return the thesis to you
and instruct you to see the head teacher.
The head teacher is located in the 11 o'clock direction of Yuno.

After a little conversation you'll become a sage
