---Mr Moe---

Born in the Morroc slums, Talen's childhood had not been an easy one. With little to eat and lots of siblings he discovered early that his life would be an easier and more comfortable life if he joined the thieves guild.
So did he become anoher teenage Morroc thief. Until that one day...

Talen had become a gang leader just recently, when, trying to fasten his position by a very difficult burglary at the jeweler's, he got caught.
Almost.
The only way to prevent being arrested was to get past that guard the jeweler hired. A brawl began. The guard was well-trained and much stronger than Talen.
All of a sudden, Talen felt his hand grip something hard and waved it into the guard's direction.
Vexed by having commited a murder, Talen wandered off into the dessert, for noone in Morroc to see him ever again.

After a year of soltitude, it seems to be fate that led him to the assassin's guild. They welcomed him and accepted him as one of their kind. He learned how to wield a pair of katars, how different kinds of poison work and where the most sensitive body parts are. He learned to move unseen and how to dodge a sword's blow.

However, he couldn't match his new self with the young Morroc thief he used to be, who stole in desperation. Thus he acquired the alias "Mr Moe".

With grief rotting his soul, he became more and more drawn to Eudoxie and recently joined his side in the everlasting battle, looking forward to his first mission to spread chaos and sorrow.

Well I might as well add myself to this list.

Kantero Ceres

A white wolf given human form, he still shows many traits in common with his brethren. On occasion his ears or tail will appear, mainly when he gets extremely emotional, his manners also do not fit that of a "normal " person with the fact that he has been known to on occasion forego the use of his katars for the use of his own claws and has also been known to howl in response to those of other wolves.
Despite this he is quite intelligent and even a bit of a softie although his ties to Eudoxie would beg to differ. His attraction to the shadows are purely a tie of love for one who's life is enveloped in such shadows, and not his own. Which makes one wonder if he will betray those he currently serves.

William Ai'Loki

A child born in Lighthalzens poor district, his family passed on at a young age, leaving him to fend for himself. Stunted in growth by the very sickness that took his family and constantly hungering for approval he set out to make himself useful to someone, anyone. As his desperation grew so did the darker side of his mind. It is currently unknown as to what goes through his head as he carries out Mistress Mystra's commands, but one thing is sure. He is a gifted child but his mind has a deep wound that has never healed.

Perry Cox
AKA: Coxy, Coxter ... etc

Quote:Dr. Cox is the former senior attending physician at Sacred Heart Hospital and Residency Director for the hospital, but now after Dr. Bob Kelso's departure is the Interim Chief of Medicine. In a 2003 episode, it is established that he is 40 years old, which probably places his birth somewhere around 1963. However, in "My Growing Pains", which aired in 2007, he states his age at a more specific 47, making his birth year closer to 1960, within a year of McGinley's true birth date. He also mentions that he is a Scorpio, placing his birth date somewhere between October 23-24 and November 21-22.

On behalf of a dear friend of mine, he asked me to post the background of his character:

teOx

A man who got fed up with life and fell of a building. He's been shouting:
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Since he started falling.

Will be updated once he reaches the ground.

RE: *RolePlaying Character Background Thread*

(( its been a long time since i've done this, so bear with me ))

The Delvar daughters, Kelta and Ceia as they had been named, were born into a family of rich magic blooded ones. Their entire lineage was full of priests, wizards, soul linkers, taoists, ninjas, and just about any other profession that primarily focused on magic. It is said that the Delvars had originally wrote the spells used today for common magics.

Kelta and Ceia were born to an unlikely pair, a retired priest, and a destructive spellbound wizardess. However they were great parents, and the two daughters had a very fortuante life.

Up until it was time for their talents to blossom, of course.

Kelta Delvar
Age: Early twenties
Appearance: Soft white curls that seem to sparkle in the sun, fair skin, and bright green eyes. She neither skinny nor stout, but a bit of both, giving her body an hourglass shape.
Temperament: She has a sharp tounge, and is often very sarcastic for a young woman in the churchyards. She is very curious, and seems to have an unusual taste for elemental things, and demonic dark magics.

Kelta seemed to take after her father, in having a penchant for the healing arts, and purification of demonized souls. However she not only poseessed her mother's looks, but also her obsession with the dark magics. Some of her fellow priests blame Kelta's obsession with the dark magics, for her almost insane fear of being healed. She hardly hangs around other priests to this day, and prefers the company of wizards.

Ceia Delvar
Age Late Teens
Appearance She retains fair skin much liek her mother, however she has clear blue eyes, and sky blue hair. She is very thin, tall, and lanky. Some tend to mistake her for a male.
Temperament Ceia is typically quiet, she tends to listen in on conversations, rather than be outspoken like her sister. She is however very cold and blunt in her speech, and she seems to have an almost deadly aura about her.

Ceia, unlike her sister, took after her mother in terms of ability, and her father in terms of temperament. Her father was always very loving, yet cold and blunt, and Ceia retained this nature. However, Ceia was not able to find her "niche" as well as her sister, Kelta, had. Ceia had originally planned to become a mage, and like any mage, she was sent to study at a young age. However her abilities were so unfocused, that she tended to hurt others, more often then the things she were training upon. Ceia was soon sent away from her family to a place where she could hone her abilities so that she could not hurt other people. She became a soul linker, and the magics she had been forced to learn could never harm a soul. Yet... This discouraged her.

(( well there we have it. If anyone is interested in role playing, please pm either of these characters in game, or try pming me on the forums. Or if you have an issue with the story i have provided, feel free to prod! ))

St Robyn

Robyn grew up in South Prontera where she was a Lunatic shepardess in the Lunatic slipper trade. (Check your closet!??You might own a pair!)??Herding Lunatics is about as easy as herding cats, and she wasn't very good at it until the day a crusader came by and showed her the easy way of doing it.

"Just smack them once and they will follow you anywhere until they get tired of attacking."

"But doesn't that hurt?", asked Robyn.

"You have to accept a little pain if you want to get things done."

From that moment on, Robyn knew what she had to be.??A CRUSADER!??A defender of justice, protector of the weak and occaisional smacker of bunnies!

Upon her acceptance into the Order of Crusaders, she was asked how she wished to be called.

"St Robyn!"

"Saint?" said the Head Crusader.

"Mama always said 'water seeks its own level'.??If you want to go to heaven, act like you're there already."

The Head Crusader smiled indulgently.??"May you earn your halo soon."

RE: *RolePlaying Character Background Thread*

For now I'll place this here as a start in the right direction Icon_biggrin

~Lord Jugger~
The dark lord wasn't always this way. Before desperate circumstances shrouded his eyes from the light forever, the dark lord was once a humble goat herder off the fields of Yuno.

His days were spent tending to his early-geriatric parents and making a small living raising and selling goats for wool/meat.

However in this young boys heart a yearning for a broader life was brewing every day. One night he snuck away in the dark, leaving his parents snoring peaceably.

Following the mild light from the north and south moons, the boy stumbled over rocky pastures until he came to the brink of festering civilization - the night scape of Einbroch. The neon lights of the strip lit up the surrounding area. Blinded by the spectacle the boy tripped and rolled down the hillside, scratching his knees and elbows while he tucked his limbs in as he was told in spontaneous combustion drills.

A while later, gathering his bloody bruised self off of the ground, the boy walked towards the red lights. As he was standing by the main road, a patrol unit rolled down in full escort. The boy stood ogling as prostitutes and peddlers were plucked off street corners and others ran quickly from the stun guns and night sticks of the men in suits.

Unbeknownst to the boy, from behind him a dark cloaked figure dragged him into the shadow of a clammy dripping alley. The boy tried to scream and resist, but a firm hand clamped over his mouth. Shorty after, the boy began to lose consciousness and as the lights faded in his eyes, the boy heard gentle whispers in his ears.

5 years later, the boy, now a fully grown man, runs the underground thugs union inside Inner City, Einbroch - the foulest den of debauchery and organized crime this side of Rune-Midgard. Yet in this boy, beat a climbing note of remorse. However a healthy dose of power-hording and tyranny quenched that thought, at least for the moment.

RE: *RolePlaying Character Background Thread*

(OOC: Long, but hopefully accurate with heRO's story.Tell me if I was off on anything)

Bonding; sometimes it refers to the closeness between those who have affection between them, other times is can have a less than welcome type of attachment, like that between Eudoxie and Skoll in the summoning bond. However, does the presence of one make the need for the other impossible? Though if they were combined, wouldn't one make the other stronger?
Of course, this is an odd way to think for most people; Hunters would of course respect nature, but wouldn't care too much about magic, and Wizards, while magically inclined, usually don't think too much about nature. However, there are some who have reason to respect nature, from the trees and the flowers to the animals, as well as respect the forces that flow through all beings be they magical or life energies; like Alchemists. Not all of them, but there are some Alchemists that tend to plants as small as Mandragora or as mighty as Geographers; and many more Alchemists find partnership with Humonculi.

Now with all that in mind, let us now side step our focus to a young boy. On the surface this boy doesn't seem too special; he has is not of noble decent, he doesn't seem to have any special powers; both his parents are even still alive and working very seemingly dull, common jobs. The boy's father is but a mere Peco Peco breeder and trainer, and the boy's mother tended and sold flowers. At first glance these two jobs appear to be very different and unrelated, however this is untrue, they both require a common, rare to find quality; a kind and gentle heart. Both the boy's parents would always remind him of one thing: everything needs love to grow and flourish, be it plant, animal, or even humans.
Years pasted, the boy grew into a man, loved by his parents; but still he was a typical commoner; though he did not have a problem with this, for he was loved by his parents. Then came the day when he was of age to finally seek out a job. Wiser than his years, and experienced in the ways of Rune-Midgard, as well as seeing the results in the battle between the Light and Dark Alliances, the young man could see that the kingdom was slowly being overrun by the Dark Alliance, humans and monsters who only wanted power for themselves, and would eventually turn on each other if they did end up ruling Rune-Midgard; thus destroying all life, everywhere; just as the Dark Alliance's god, Erebos, wanted. As puzzling as it might be, as to why so many would worship a god who wanted them dead; the power of Greed that was released from Pandora's Box is a very strong and blinding force. It was for this reason, the young man knew he had to become a hero, to try and save humanity from its darker self and to spread to them the lessons of his parents, to love. To do this, he would have to travel... a habit very common to Merchants; and thus it came to be; the young man became a Merchant.
This young Merchant's adventures do not start here though, nor does his upbringing end; even after he had perfectly mastered the ways of his job and he was ready to advance, the deep love his parents gave him still flowed deep in his being. His father's love of beasts and his mother's love of flora grew in him as well, and it was for this reason, he chose to be an Alchemist; for their mastery of plant life through Bio Cannibalization and ability to create and summon life in the form of Homunculi; with these methods, he could nurture life wherever he went. Finally, with his path set, the young man chose an alias for himself; a name to show his status as a hero and to strike fear in his enemies; and thus he became known as Toxin.

Toxin had only just started studying the ways of Alchemy though when the plight of Eudoxie's Summoning Bond with Skoll had begun, and while he knew he was not strong enough to help the fight against her and the Dark Alliance, Toxin still studied the battles and all that he could. For there was one thing that caught his attention; the power of the forced bond of Eudoxie's spell. If Eudoxie could summon and bind a creature as strong as Skoll against its will, how strong of a creature could be bonded willingly, and through friendship? It is this, which Toxin now searches an answer for; as well as a way to repeat Eudoxie's Summoning Spell... although with a more willing companion.
