To anyone who paid attention in English...

Which of the following is 1) better or 2) "correct"?

Version 1
Do realize that some of the comments presented are of my opinion,
and some of the obviously wrong/stupid witticisms are meant to lighten the mood.

Version 2
Do realize that some of the comments presented are of my opinion, and
some of the obviously wrong/stupid witticisms are meant to lighten the mood.

Version 3
Do realize that some of the comments presented are of my opinion, and some
of the obviously wrong/stupid witticisms are meant to lighten the mood.

Version 4
Do realize that some of the comments presented are of my opinion, and some of
the obviously wrong/stupid witticisms are meant to lighten the mood.

It's really an opinion question. Feel free to include any version not presented here. You'll need to hit enter to force a line break.

I guess what I'm really looking for is what to do when I have a line that ends in a verb, preposition, etc. Do I take the verb, preposition etc. with me to the next line or do I continue typing and let the sentence wrap around and let the verb/preposition/adjective/etc hang on the preceding line? Also, we're talking about sentences with and without conveniently placed commas and semicolons.

blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah verb/preposition/etc
blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah

Or

blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
verb /preposition/etc blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah

I don't think it matters where you have the line break; as far as I know there are no specific grammatical rules pertaining to line breaks.

Outside of poetry, they do not really impact on the structure. I would go with whichever one is most aesthetically pleasing to you.

Actually most of the cases I'd go with the last one. Or even more specific, don't break the lines at all.

Most reports and books, that I've seen, are written with the text going all the way to the margin (full justification). But that might only hold true in the world of university. ^_^''

You have no more space, in the line, and you'll need to switch. Why should you care about what kind of word your line ends with?

Trust me. Portuguese is the most dificult language (or one of, at least) of them all, and we got no rule, about that, so... Meh... Icon_razz

I would say it's not a big deal, as a senior English/Education major going for a license in English Education... Not saying NO ONE will care - but line breaks really shouldn't affect much.
