Sign quest help

At the part where you give the Symbol of the Nine Realms to serin and defeat the monster's that she summons. She is suppose to send you to the witch's room after she passes out. Instead i was sent back to niff. and now non of the npc's will continue the quest. I talk to serin again and all i get is ".........", talk to gen and he congratulates me for getting the symbol, and the witch keeps sending me back to umbala. How do i continue the quest to get the sign any help would be appreciated.

yes the guide said after i stop serin she was suppose to send me to the witches room so i can continue the quest but i was sent to niff. when she passed out .

Head to the witches room manually using the portrait's shortcut.
