If the botter succeeded, what makes you think that he won't do it again? If it's because of "obeying the rules" that he won't do it again, that guy won't do it to begin with. If you think that you found a bot and have no way to find a GM immediately, it's better not to act too rashly about it or else you'll make the botter be on guard. Don't let the word out too much so the botter will mistaken for things to be safe, and bot again.


Some of you in this particular case took matters into your own hand and used warp portals to try to "kill the bot" or "stop botting" by sending him back to town. Fortunately, the guy is indeed a bot and the GMs got on to jail him quickly, and Pandora IP banned at the end. However, if the botter does come back to see how players are doing this to him before GMs arrive, then indeed once again the botter raises his guard and it'll be hard to catch him for us GMs in the future. There's also a possibility that the player is simply a bit new or does not speak English, then it'll be killing an innocent player. Also, sending them back to town is NOT a good idea because it'll be more challenging for GMs to verify if they are botting or not.

If you think someone is botting, just report the bot and move on. Keep things quiet.
