Problem with the Full install

Ok, I've downloaded the full install, it installs fine, updates fine, but when i click exit/start, it gives me this message:

and when i try to run heRO.exe it gives me this message over and over:

Any idea's on how to fix this problem?

Hmm... do you still have a copy of kRO sakray with you? I can send you some files for a temporary fix.

I have um...qRO installed on my laptop (old sak and kRO though) so i basically get gravity errors straight away. Pretty annoying that i spent 11 hours downloading it only to have it blow up in my face, but oh well.

Just to be sure, you used the heRO installer on a totally new folder, right?

Anyways... can you play RO at all on your current computer?

This computer im on has never had any RO related files on it. It's barely 2 weeks old, and I can play qRO (on my laptop) but it's very un-updated and will crash as soon as something new comes along (npc, hat, colour pallete, etc)

I have the first error a lot too when I try to patch heRO... The only solution to this (for me, for now) is to after patch, click cancel and start heRO on its main .exe

>_<" Also, anyone has problems getting the new updates? I can't patch at all and get so many errors that I gave up. (I downloaded the new patch already that was written in the announcement) So yeah.. I'm not too happy about that.

Ah!! the same exact thing happens to me. And I dont have any other RO's installed on this computer, i just installed the full installer and it keeps showing that message until i shut it down in task manager in the process tab (setup.exe) (heRO.exe)

But didn't somebody say they have files for a fix?

I get the same problem with the patcher but my .exe file if fine.

Yea I don't think it's a client-side problem when the patcher can't connect to the patch server or whatever it is.

So then how do I fix this? I want to play... Do I need the origanal RO installed from the real site or something?
