RE: Sooooo...

Would be so much better to multiply by 5 exp quest. They worth nothing compared to grinding here.

RE: Sooooo...

...or that it's to balance out how not everything is "applied by the ratio directly." Afterall, you gain 5x the exp, but your death is only 1% loss either way instead of the mathematical equivalence of 5% loss each death.

RE: Sooooo...

I know, and that gives more reasons again to go grind instead of doing quests.

RE: Sooooo...

i dunno, i've done the quests during the level 70s where grinding starts getting to be a chore and quite boring, and you get up there pretty quick still, and usually without having to worry about dying. my assassin started questing at level 70, she's done maybe 5 quests or 6 of the 20+ exp quests and is level 75. the quests still give a decent amount of exp, besides, who would do all the quests if they were at x5 rates anyway? at least this way you must do all the quests to make it worthwhile, even if grinding is more beneficial in the long run. in the short term though, questing is typically faster to do than grinding.
