Yeah, I agree with you Ellie, they need to fix a lot of things in RO. I think its futile now to argue that they won't move on, because that looks like a necessity, as much as i hate to say it . Im just hoping they show some respect to RO and make RO2 at least somewhat resemble RO. If not resemble, then they should at least make RO2 unique.

im pretty sure RO2 was scrapped for revamp which is also on delay while they release the new RO, which is why i say its dead.

edit: RO is also very much alive, still 20+ servers with great population on jRO. only iRO seems to be dying, with kRO slowly falling to the same fate.

the free servers each RO is opening was also a great idea. the total population of iRO has jumped dramatically since the opening of valkyrie, even if the premium servers all suffered a loss. in the end they make enough through kafra shops that the overall profit is most likely decent. free servers just gives more players an excuse to abuse kafra items.

Possibly just put it on hold until they reach their goals with RO. I would love to have the look and feel of RO but with a updated engine to allow in game cutscenes and much more of a PvE feel.

its a nice try but RO will never be anything more than a dried out mmo for people who like cute gears and modest pvp. it cant be fixed with so many flawed mechanics.

i do love the revamp changes though. if i were them i would have remade RO2 the exact same as RO 1 except with 3D and a more involved storyline change, since the only real merit RO has imo is that its very fast paced compared to almost all of the other MMOs

i remember when i played ro2 on an private server its was a lot of fun vere buggy but that sad part about it playing it juse that the hole time i was tink about ro1 i love the music in it vere good as always but if i cood have it my way make take the music and the cute stuff over to ro 1 b/c the game is vere nice but it does not fell like ro much and i did start to miss ro a lot wile i was playing it

I could imagine a better RO2. Keep the camera system as is, make the character's 3D (like in Diablo), update the user interface (I kind of like the one in RO2), and make it more PvE-oriented and I'll be more then happy to go retail

I've played a little of RO2 on a private server (possibly the only one)

Only thing that coming back to RO1 that I miss is the /sit -> /lie command
