"The Shop" in events

So got some mixed bag of comments regarding novice events and "The Shop" in the end of most novice events. What do you guys think?

-Some said that the shop is unfair since only the fastest clicker benefits, lag gets in the way and new players aren't too sure of what to do with the shop. It doesn't give a total fair chance for everyone like a novice event is intended to be.

-Some said that the shop is unfair since the prizes are too good, and/or it is redundant with the prize NPC at the end who usually gives you a few GB or OBB already. It gives too much

(note: for reference, the most recent shop sold OBB, OPB, GB, Ice Scale (5, but not all 5 sold out), Legacy of Dragon (1), Royal Gold Bullion (2), Royal Cooking Kit, Poporing Egg (1), Coat[1] (1) )

-Some said that that the shop is actually not all that great as prizes are mediocre at best

-Some said that the shop is just fine as it is now

Well, comments on shops in novice events?

RE: "The Shop" in events

Honestly I think there are a lot more happy people about "shop event" than unhappy ones, perhaps some complain because they didn't get what they want and they make it known while people who are satisfied might not be as vocal about it because they see no problem.

Players usually ask for it during novice event and they seem popular from my experience. If you announce it beforehand it's pretty easy to understand, even for new players.

while I rarely get what I want, I agree that the shop is good as it is. I mean, seriesly, what are the chances of getting a neko mimi normally? Sure it usually goes to the faster clicker but thats not always the case. It just happens that we all want the same thing XD

RE: "The Shop" in events

The shop is the BIGGEST reason I might even go to a novice event. The prizes are good to me, and I like them the way they are.

the shop is fun because its competition pure and simple ^~^

fastest finger, think about it this way, people on millionaire can't get to the hotseat unless they're the quickest draw ~-~

I like the item in shop as they are. I just wish g'luck to everybody lol

RE:??"The Shop" in events

I haven't gone to a novice event in a while, but I really enjoyed the shop at the end. The prizes seem fine to me. Like Pandora said, it's probably the people that didn't click fast enough that are complaining.

Can't you just do the quest..?

RE: "The Shop" in events

When I had my first shop, I clicked it, but I wasn't sure if everyone was allowed to shop or just certain players by some way of the event.

I think changing the title would fix that. XD
Something like "EVERYONE SHOP" or some sort.

I like how it brings in items for other people.
As Monetai bought up the RL and millionaire example. With this, it means some people may get items they want, who aren't rich players, or the such.

Anyway. I love that shop. XD
