Poll: What do you think of our daddy goverment( GM Staff ) in the interaction with our Hero Market?
i think they should stay out of our market.
i think they are making good control and modifications to the market.
i think they could make better changes.
i think those changes end up breaking the balance structure on the market.

RE: Daddy Goverment

The quest is not in a hurry, but if you're going to complain, work on it instead.

Never knew coal was such a game breaking item, remind me what makes it so important?

RE: Daddy Goverment

Well, to do steel you need 5 iron + 1 coal.??Coal has always been the limiting factor for doing steels.??Just look at the drop rates of coals and irons on rms to be convinced.??(Highest drop rate for iron : 100% from antique firelock, For coals : 17.4% with respawn top rate of : + 1x / 20~30 min)??Now, any forger who mines his stuff will end with extra coal, when its supposed to be the inverse.??

It's not a problem that is a major game breaking, but it's an item with his relative importance that is hugely debalanced when getting it from mining.??

or we go 2.4% lower for obsidian who spawns like crazy and even got a fixed spawn point. Just to make it even more convenient, they drop steel at the exact same 15%.

Never really thought that coal is such a big deal either o_o;

Yep, I'm with Ayu on this one. Coal never was a big deal to me I guess. To be honest, with how many actual forgers are on the server compared...I think coal item from mining is fine. I see people drop it even when I'm out mining! Shows you how "valuable" this item is I guess =/

GM-Pandora Wrote:Anyhow Gravity tempers with the economy too, like karvo used to be worth selling for 200z to npc and with the introduction of trans suddenly it was worth 100k in some servers. They make plenty of changes, so do we. And we never claimed to have nor want official economy, we're a unique server, not an iro clone.
you missed the point. considering you guys already revamping existing systems isnt that like "oops we messed up"? fishing oca drop rate was a blatant one for years. economy changes in many ways that are impossible to predict when you introduce new stuff. gravity is tampering with their economy. heRO is also tampering with GRAVITY's economy. for example, easy chocolate/fish access made blues pretty much obsolete completely yet theyre supposed to be a big part of brewing and alchemist's usefulness. 90% of this server wouldnt know what to do without chocolates/fish lol. along with krim's coal argument which may not be important is still an example of tampering gone wrong. karvo price skyrocketting is an example of tampering not gone wrong.

instead of krim's weird idea, fishing should be disabled when it turns night! who fishes at night anyway Laugh

RE: Daddy Goverment

No actually people fish at night a lot, its the best time for fishing. You don't fish during the middle of the day Kissy

SCORE! I'm in the 10% that would be just peachy without chocolate/fish Laugh

I guess I don't really mind what the fate of mining and fishing is since I loathe both anyway >>;

RE: Daddy Goverment

lol at one time fishing used to be:
-good source for alcohol
-good source for money
-best source for oca
-best source for tons of regen items

15% vs 100%, you need to hunt 6.7 times more to get coals than to get irons, and without our rates, it would be 5% vs 55%, 11 times more.??And obsidian regen spawn rate is 0min to 5 min.??

And it's not that coal is a so-much-important thing that got screwed up, it's that coal is a moderate-normal thing that got hugely-screwed-up.??

random edit: search rms for coal, and you will see that there is a coal box item o_o
