A server I used to be on had a storage of 1000 (honestly, simply because of me being a pack rat, and nagging that 600 wasn't big enough. XD), but man, was it fun to open some times. That many items can't be slow to load.

lol 9000 items... you wanna collect all the items by their id? i think there's more than 10k items (although some may be unattainable at the time -> looking at RMS item IDs) lol...

yeah teOx, ppl need to sell their stuff, but i have more than twice regretted selling things that i consider junk and suddenly next week a quest comes up and ask for those items... GMs are ebil... jk xP

so yeah i now really select what i sell to the NPCs...

spoiler: make merchs, get carts, and you can store 100 items in the carts and around 300 (if i'm not mistaken) on the person... really helps with gears and cards...

Maybe we'll be really really nice and upgrade to 700 in the next svn, but no guarantee. Having a bigger storage has its ups and downs, you can store more item sure, but it's that much longer when you search for a specific one.

You could save yourself some future trouble and preemptively bump it to 1000.

we're already at 2x the default xD...

i wouldnt consider difficulty in finding an item as a downside to having larger storage. "thats like saying oh dear my mansion is so huge it takes so long to walk from my bedroom to the kitchen". in the end youre still giving everyone a big mansion.
