Yeah, when I created the server I had it set to a password at first, without checking a test user. Whoops.

It's fixed now, though.... ideally.

It runs a different version, and, if I remember correctly, Vent does notlike having 2 different versions of itself installed.

You can install them side by side if you specify a different installation folder, you just can't have two clients up at the same time.

I remember we had big problems at uni at one stage with two clashing. Even in different folders. =\

Well ok, I'm running XP, SP2 and I've just managed it here. I mean you wouldn't be able to connect with version 2.3.0 (which is the one I tried it with) but that's to be expected as it wouldn't match the server version.
