Need some anime recommendations...

First of all, NO NARUTO

Ok, now that I've made that clear, on to the rest of my postIcon_biggrin

Well, I just recently have gotten into anime (if you count DBZ as anime, they I have been watching it for years). My top two favorite animes are Trigun and Gungrave. I guess I like guns for some strange reasonThinking. However, if you have watched both of them, there is a big difference between them.

While Trigun is much more??"happy-go-lucky" Gungrave is a hell of a lot more serious. I like both types of animes, but in these bad economic times, I guess I am aiming for more "happy-go-lucky" type of animesOk.

I don't want a anime that has 300+ episodes as you guys may have guessed from my starting sentence. I like the "standard" 26 episode animes.

So, with that being said, hopefully some of you guys can help me find some good animes.

*Note*
Guns don't have to be in the anime, its just a coincidence that they are in my top two fav. animesNo1

1) Clannad
2) Kanon 2006

Watching them should be your top priorities in life.

Laugh , I haven't been here long, but for the time that I have been here, you have been catching a lot of heat for liking Clannad. I'll definitely look into those two animes, maybe I'll be the only other person besides you to like themIcon_wink.

*EDIT*
Oh My God , maybe if I wanted to get rid of my "man-card" I would watch Clannad. No offense though to anyone who does watch it...that happens to be a guy...Icon_wink

Naruto: the stuff of fanboys. Yea...

Well I recommend Mobile Suit Gundam 00 to you. Icon_razz Contrary to what some people say, its story is actually quite interesting.

Lol, yeah, maybe I should go back to Survivor and The Real WorldLaugh

And thanks for the recommendation Sepharius. I remember watching Gundam (don't know the exact name, there were so many of them) a long time ago. I will definitely look into this one, thanksIcon_wink

A little on the mature side, but yeah, I'd recommend that.

You could also try Code Geass (8D!) and Strait Jacket (movie).

Didn't really specify what kinds of anime that you liked (other than it having guns). Comedy? Romance? Sci-fi? Action?

And for the record, I watched Kanon 2006 and Clannad. And I'm a guy. Probably the most beautiful animes I've ever seen in my entire life. And Clannad made me cry (The thing with Fuuko and her sister's wedding... *sobs*). You're free to watch it all you want... just don't let anyone catch you watching it.

Randomly materializing within heRO since 2008.

Hi, I copy and paste profound and meaningful quotes without having an iota's worth of what it actually means!

I like a mixture of Comedy-Romance-Action, basically everything (like Trigun). Vash is easily my fav. anime character of all time, love his personalityIcon_biggrin (only anime that I can stand the eng. sub of).

I have heard nothing but good things about Code Geass, so I will definitely have to check that out.
