some people arent satisfied and must have the character that they RP in turn RP as something even more ridiculous.

well i see that there is no box for my responce. so ill just add it here. -cause others dont, and even so i always try to stay in character, it give more purpose to picking how you look and what jobs you take. i feel anyways. and even those that dont really seem to speak from thier sprites point of views i always try to treat each sprite based on what they look like and how they repond to things. i think more people should try it its not like you can be embarrased or anything on account we dont know you really other than meeting your character. ; ) peace

I'm the dude that's playing the dude role playing another dude, no thanks.

I'd have to say it confuses me to no end when I try to help those few people who do start out Role Playing. sometimes, i may play along, but 9 times out of 10, I do not see any real plot or storyline.

I suppose the closest I come to Roleplaying here is pretending to be another player entirely when I'm on my secret characters. Occaisionally my cover is blown, but the people who know me are often surprised when they find out it's me.

I've never roleplayed on a game before. Plus, I didn't know it was encouraged here. So that would stop me. =x Ayna also isn't an existing character, so she has nothing on her.

Otherwise, I'm a writer. So I love roleplaying. What stops me from doing it in a writing setting is lack of originality and proper writing. Haven't RPed in months because no one does it at my level. It's all the same things over again and one liners.
