This helmet is acquired from the NPC Balian in the West Prontera Inn (Just west of the item shop, and the Allegiance NPC). You must belong to an allegiance side, and also have 100 Allegiance Points to have the quest available.

The stats on the helmets are same. They have HP/SP + 5%, HP/SP Recov + 5%, Increased Weight Capacity of 600 (stacks with backpacks) and combo with any ToH Generation 5 wings! The combo adds Increased Attack speed by 2% and Decrease Casting Speed by 6%.

Starting off: Reuniting with Old Allies

1. Talk to Balian in the West Prontera Inn (He's on the second floor, all the way south). He notes that you are well renowned for your Allegiance, and tells you about his history, and his ability to create one of these enchanted helmets. Upon accepting the idea to make one of these helmets, he sends you off to see all of his friends.

He tells you about each friend in order. For this first part, you are to go out, and seek out every friend, and then return.

2. His first friend, Katarus, is found in moc_fild17 (291, 264). The easiest way here is to go 2 screens South of Morroc, then one screen East.

3. His second fried, Orchid, is found at gon_dun03 (42, 159). Navigate the dungeon any way you choose, either by walking through the portals on the second floor in the right order, or just fly winging/Teleporting around.

4. His third friend is Father Benedict, found behind Kiel Hyre's Academy at yuno_fild08 (69, 178).

NOTE: Father Benedict also creates the custom Angeling Pet Tame Food. It will be his THIRD option. DO NOT choose this option, or else you'll be FORCED to finish the Pet Tame quest before you can complete the Blessed Helm quest!

5. His last friend is Lord Matthew, at niflheim (276, 152). As a tip, go north through the city, east down to the graveyard, and then go up the little floating stone circles. Go south at the fork.

NOTE: Lord Matthew also creates the custom Deviling Pet Tame Food. It will be his THIRD option. DO NOT choose this option, or else you'll be FORCED to finish the Pet Tame quest before you can complete the Cursed Helm quest!

6. Upon visiting all of Balian's friends, return to him at the inn. Now you start the process of creating the helmet!

7. Balian sends you back to Katarus first, noting that he also wants 50 Heroic Emblems. (You'll need to give these to him once you return: Orc Hero drops them at 100% rate, you can also acquire them from Old Blue Box / Old Purple Box.) Once there, Katarus asks you for a vague amount of items-- and he doesn't even really specify which items he wants! The list of items required is below.

• 50x Heroic Emblems (For Balian upon return.)
• 1x Helm [1] - Valkyrie Randgris (MVP, 100% drop), Bloody Knight, Seyren (non MVP), Old Blue Box, Old Purple Box
• 15x Piece of Shield - Lord of Death (MVP, 100% drop), Old Blue Box, Old Purple Box
• 350x Helm of Dullahan - Dullahan, Old Blue Box, Old Purple Box
• 300x Destroyed Armor - Tamruan, Sword Master, Bow Master, Assaulter, Old Blue Box, Old Purple Box

8. Return to Balian after giving Katarus what he needs. He'll take your Heroic Emblems, and then send you to see Orchid. He also makes a note that you need an Angel's/Devil's Wing headgear, based on your allegiance. These can be acquired from Angeling/Deviling, respectively.

9. Orchid asks you for different items, based on your allegiance. If you are a member of the Legion of the Dark Allegiance you will need:

• 5x Black Dyestuff
• 50x Soft Feather - Owl Baron, Owl Duke, Cornus, Skeggiold

If you are a member of the Order of the Light Allegiance, you will need:

• 10x White Dyestuff
• 100x Soft Feather

(Don't ask me why.)

After you give Orchid these items, return to Bailan again.

10. Give Bailan your Wing headgear, and he makes a note about the helmet being almost finished-- but needing its final blessing. Again, your path is different here.

For Order of the Light Allegiance, you are to go see Father Benedict again.

For Legion of the Dark Allegiance, you are to go see Lord Matthew again.

11a. Father Benedict tells you that he needs some items, as well as a donation to show your faith.

• 200x Crystal Fragments - Bradium Golems (100% Drop), Mineral
• 10 Gold -OR- 2m zeny

Give these to him, and return to Bailan for your well-deserved helmet!

11b. Lord Matthew tells you that he needs some items, as well as a donation to show your faith.

• 200x Dark Crystal Fragments - Dark Shadow (100% Drop), Cobalt Mineral, Obsidian
• 10 Gold -OR- 2m zeny

Give these to him, and return to Bailan for your well-deserved helmet!
