Automated Events
Automated Events are events that can be started by any player with an Event Bag item. Anyone online can participate. HeRO has seven such events at this time, as described below.
You can host an event by talking to the GM Assistant NPC - located in the center of Prontera - with an Event Bag in your character's inventory. You can then select which event you'd like to host from the list. A server-wide announcement will be displayed to alert everyone that an event is starting, along with instructions on how to participate. If you are a noble player, it will announce your ranking as well in front of your name and event announcement. Example: Duke Mr. Flufflepants or Baronet Prissytights.
Event bags can be gained through:
- Monthly Nobility rewards.
- Mooring in Poring Smash event.
- Buddy Beanie quest level 85 reward.
- Seasonal events (sometimes included as reward).
- Occasional GM-hosted events (sometimes included as reward).
Normal Character Events
Normal Character Events are automated events in which players may use their regular player characters for the event, rather than creating a character specifically for the event.
Below is the list of automated Normal Character Events.
Novice Events
To participate in a Novice Event, whether you are the host or not, you must create a new Novice character within the 5 minute registration period. Good stats to choose for this character vary based on the event type. When you log in on your new Novice, talk to the Novice Event Registry NPC (right in front of you) and choose "Yes please" when asked if you want to join the event.
You will be warped to a waiting area until the event begins. At the end of the registration period, the Event Rep NPC will explain the rules. Then you will be warped to the event map.
At the end of every event, once all items and zeny are stored, you will be instructed to delete that Novice character. Participating in new events with pre-existing Novice characters is not allowed. You cannot leave the Event Kafra map anyway, so there is no reason to cling to that particular novice.
