To him, Midgard must be subject to the old law of natural selection and survival of the fittest. Believing the world lost its balance, he tried to destroy the world and bring about a new beginning. The goddess Hestia fought him to prevent such a fate, but Odin stopped the two and declared no god would ever directly intervene in Midgard's affairs.

A powerful high wizard of the Dark Allegiance, she selected and trained only those whom she deemed truly powerful. She took in Eudoxie as her student, but after conflicts in ideologies, Eudoxie turned on her. After some time of conflict, a great battle between Mystra and Eudoxie was fought, and Mystra emerged victorious.

Mystra was a very strong-willed person, often not following orders from Sir Melot that she did not agree with. She would only do what she considered best for the god Erebos.

She died of allegedly natural causes in her castle at Niflheim some time before Satan Morroc's resurrection.

A skilled wizard who rebelled against the Dark Allegiance for believing they were too lax in regards to their goal. She managed to bind Skoll to use its powers to attack various cities. With the help of Ostellos and the ethereal engineer, Aaronock, they opened a gateway to Muspelheim. She also Kidnapped St. Vitus from Rachel City, with the help of a hired mercenary, Incantation Samurai.

The council that decides of all that happens within the Dark allegiance's ranks.

Originally, the dark allegiance was lead under Sir Melot, but after several power grabs, and the rebellion of Eudoxie, a council was formed to maintain order. The Dark Allegiance Council is composed of five members:

*Sir Melot - The Head of the group. He's the face of the five, and the leader of the whole allegiance for the most part.

*Lord Matthew - Usually trusted with the "heavy lifting", such as leading troops.

*Ciar Speir - The more level-headed, lenient and uncaring of the five. He's the head scientist of the research division.

*Tiamat - In charge of recruiting. She keeps everything from falling apart when things get out of hand.

*Rajnish - Strategist, and more aligned with the original views of the allegiance than the rest of the group.

A (usually) courteous, yet hot-headed Lord Knight that lives in Niflheim. He owns most of the buildings in the place, and isn't afraid to speak his mind. He was framed by The Golemancer and imprisoned for stealing the eggs of Turtle Island. Once the evidence absolving him piled up and became undeniable, he was released.
