A fairy in Marasmius can enchant an armor with a random stat. The price is 100,000 zeny and 1 runestone depending on the rank.
There's 2 RNGs that are at play here. First is the success & fail rates, which merely determine if the item breaks or goes to the next step.
Runestone Required and Fail Rate by ranking:
Rank 1 - General Rune, 40% fail rate
Rank 2- Ancient Rune, 45% fail rate
Rank 3 - Mystic Rune, 50% fail rate
Every Reputation Point increases success rate by 0.01. This means that 2k rep increases success rates by 20%. So far, the gear breaks if the enchantment fails.
If the initial step succeeds (gear doesn't break), then the script deals with another RNG: Which enchant to add.
Possible Enchants & Rates:
- +1 of Any Stat, 30% (5% to get one particular +1 stat)
- +2 of Any Stat, 20% (3.3% to get one particular +2 stat)
- +3 of Any Stat, 10% (1.6% to get one particular +3 stat)
- +5% HP Recovery, 5%
- +5% SP Recovery, 5%
- +3 Flee, 5%
- +3% Heal Power, 5%
- +100 HP, 5%
- +200 HP, 5%
- +25 SP, 5%
- +50 SP, 5%
