In this event, you and your fellow novices will face spellcasters on a small island. There are 6 rounds. As you progress along the waves, spellcasters become stronger. Your prize at the end will depend on your base level, the higher the better.

Event Rules

1. There are 6 waves where you fight against Taini the spellcaster. Each round lasts 2.5 minutes each.

2. Taini will become more powerful as the rounds proceed.

3. You will receive Novice Fruit x60 for the duration of the event.

4. As with any other monster, Taini will give experience when he dies.

5. If you die, you can wait for resurrection or respawn at the starting room. If you respawn, you can simply talk to the Event Rep NPC in the waiting area to return to the Fabre map.

Rounds

Whenever a new wave will begin, everyone who is currently dead is resurrected. Taini will make an announcement before he appears. He will announce when he become stronger as well. The number of Taini that will spawn each is dependent on how many players are attending the event.

1. Magician Taini: "You little novices will be no match for my magic!"

2. Magician Taini: "I'm not giving up yet!"

3. Magician Taini: "You shall fear my magic!"

4. Wizard Taini: "I will not be beaten by novices now that I'm a WIZARD!"

5. Wizard Taini: "Feel my wrath!"

6. High Wizard Taini: "Fear me... now I am a HIGH WIZARD!"

Event Tips

Recommended Stats: Depends on role. Fighters will want Str/Agi/Dex and Tankers will want Vit/Int.

Find out if you prefer to use your starting knife or not for removing Taini's HP.

Partying with each other in this event lets everyone gain levels together, and allowing everyone to proceed further in the rounds to receive more prizes.

Try to decide on roles before applying stat points.

Fighters typically prioritize attacking 1-2 Taini at a time.

Tanks should prioritize moving Taini from swarming the fighters.

Save Concentration Pots that you receive from the earlier rounds for the final rounds. This way you can get the most damage output on the most difficult mobs of the event.

If you die, it is not recommended to wait for automated ressurection. Instead return to the starting room and respawn at the map via the Event Rep NPC as quickly as possible to continue playing your role and defeat all Taini mobs in time before the 2.5 minutes end.

Prizes

Rewards are based on your character's base level at the event's end.

• A quantity of X Scroll Package (At level 5)
• A quantity of X Taini Stars (At level 8)
• 1 Taming gift set (At level 11)

Taini Stars can be traded to Taini NPC in Geffen (60, 170) near the Mage Guild.
