Description

This is a cooperative event where players join forces to defeat all monsters in event maps. However, Dreamsprites will be given to each player in the event when the event starts. Dreamsprites are fragile and follow the players. They take damage from monsters just like players, and they die if the player dies. Can you and your party defeat all monsters while keeping the dreamsprites alive?

Time

Please meet in Prontera by Oct 27, 20:45 server time. Estimated length is 90 minutes. We will start ON-TIME at 21:00. Please wait in Prontera, forming your party by 21:00 so we can warp you in and start right away.

Event Goal

  • At least 1/4 of your party's Dreamsprites must survive at the end of every part
  • Defeat the MVP(s) on a map to get the right to advance to the next wave
  • Inbetween waves, rewards are given and Dreamsprites are reassigned
  • There will be a total of 3 waves; each wave must be completed within 19 minutes (Dreamsprites naturally die at 20 min time-mark to keep track of time)

Character Restrictions

  • You must be a non-trans character
  • You must be base level 80 exactly (job level doesn't matter)
  • Bring your own gears and items
  • You will have no access to Kafra: bring whatever you can with you
  • You may bring pets, but it's up to you to manage your own pets and items

Event Details

  • A disconnect or accidental respawn kills the Dreamsprite.
  • Event map has no exp penalty
  • Event map does not allow teleport/warp portal/fly wing
  • Event map allows all skills, including ice wall
  • Event map allows all items, including Token of Siegfried
  • Event map will have no healing or resurrections provided by the GM. It is crucial that the party can sustain itself.
  • Do not bring butterfly wing to avoid accidentally leaving the map.
  • If there are more people than 1 party to join the event, then you MUST split the party to have as close number in head-count as possible (within one of each other)
  • Dreamsprites will not attack, and will follow their player as much as possible like a pet
  • Dreamsprites can be healed and can be buffed, but are unaffected by Bard/Dancer songs, Kyrie Eleison, or Soul Linker buffs
  • Dreamsprites cannot be revived once they are dead
  • Tip: it's inevitable that some players and their dreamsprites die- The goal is to be tactical with who are the sacrifices that can spare their lives, and who in the party's main goal is to keep the dreamsprites alive at any cost.
  • Tip: Dreamsprites got minor buffing/self-healing, but the rate of the healing is not reliable and should be used as a last resort
