For the month of November, you can exchange 100 Hugel Prize Medals (obtained from Kaldheim Arena or from Hugel minigames) for one of the 3 costumes. Inside a shop in Hugel (hugel,94,103), go to the top floor to talk to the Seasonal Trader (hu_in01,20,243). To obtain one of each costumes, you will need 300 Prize Medals in total.
Note that this quest is available strictly according to server time from Nov 1 to Nov 30. However, these costumes may also be obtainable via other quests/events outside of November.
Note: a patch will be released within this month to fix some item description errors for these costumes.
End of Birthday Celebration
- Server rates have reverted back to 5/5/3
- All milestone bonuses have ended
- Halloween quest has been removed
We are doing a test run where item share in parties are no longer randomly distributed, but items are shared as evenly as possible across all party members (ignoring rarity or quality of the item being shared.) This should prevent cases where one party member has all the loot from a MVP or rare monster. Please give GMs feedback regarding this change in party share.
Monster AI Update
- Monsters should update their target cell more often instead of updating their target destination only when they reach it
- Monsters' usage of skills should be more random than before. Note that all monsters will still behave according to their posted skill sets and conditions. This change simply makes it more random on which skills will a monster use if the monster meets the condition to use multiple skills.
Kafra Update
- Guild Storage is now available in Faeheim and Lutia Kafras. We'll look to expand this option to other Kafra-substitute in other towns in the future.
- There are now Kafra Teleports in Rune Midgard to reach St Capitolina Abbey or Payon Archer Village
Note that kafra teleport service knowledge on the world map is NOT updated to show these changes for now. We will change this in the future.
Balance Changes
- Cookie Bag is more more likely to produce Sesame Pastry, Honey Pastry and Rainbow Cake (increased from 1.7% to 3.85% each), while chance to obtain less useful consumables have decreased. This is definitely a net positive for Cookie Bag
- Veteran Reward will now provide Oriental Pastry instead of Tasty White Ration so that the reward for magic users match that of physical attackers for a buff item that lasts 30 min
- Oriental Pastry gives 15 MATK instead of 10 MATK (to keep up with the tradition where a flat MATK boost will be higher than a flat ATK boost)
Bug Fixes
- Shield Barrier Unit no longer forms an unintended combo with Odin's Blessing (this was a copy error from Valk Shield)
- Chewy Ricecake has its duration fixed to match item description (30 min)
- Oriental Pastry has its duration fixed to match item description (30 min)
- Fixed a bug with Midas's Touch and Grief for Greed where it does not provide the intended level of Unfair Trick
