The Cat Hand feature is the official servers' version of Kafra in New World and Malangdo. They offer the same services as the Kafra Company and Cool Event, but in New World, you must first sign up to receive their services, and require certain amount of Cat Credits to access other features. On official servers, players were first required to fish or mine for an extensive amount of time to be able to even save or warp, but HeRO's version simplified this, while also improving the official fishing and mining methods.

Signing Up
1. To sign up, you must first visit Midcamp. Talk to the Cat Hand Agent near the warpers (mid_camp 192 283) and agree to sign up.
Note: Step 1 may also be done with the Splendide and Manuk Cat Hand Agents.
2. The Agent will ask you to talk to Fluffy Gyaruk to sign the service contract. He can be found across the bridge to the west (mid_camp 51 144).
3. Once you agree to sign up, talk to one of the New World's Cat Agents. You now have 3 Cat Credits, which allows you access to Storage and Heal in Midcamp, Manuk and Splendide.
4. Talk to Fluffy Gyaruk again, he'll inform you about increasing your Cat Credits by Fishing and handing in Pieces of Fish.
5. Gyaruk will tell you to speak to Ferocious Gorurug, who is just a few steps away from him. Gorurug teaches you how to fish. Your Cat Credits are now 5. With these, you have access to Warp services now.
6. Click on the school of fish in the water near Gorurug. A cast bar will appear, indicating your progress. Repeat this step until you have 4 Pieces of Fish and turn them in to Gorurug to gain 250,000 exp and 1 Cat Credit. If you obtain a Marlin, you can trade it with the cat named Perr near Gorurug for 1 Cat Credit.
This marks the end of the short sign-up quest.

Cat Hand Fishing
Fishing in the new world is slightly different from HeRO's custom fishing feature. Once you click a fishing spot, a 6-second cast bar will appear. Fishing Cast Time may be reduced with the following gear:
Wooden, Bamboo or Metallic Fishing Rod: Reduces Fishing cast time by 3 seconds. Bait: Reduces fishing cast time by 1 second.
Each time you fish, there's a 40% chance you will lose your bait.
Ferocious Gorurug will give you 1 Cat Credit for every 5 piece of fish you bring him. This may be done daily. Once you hand the pieces of fish in, you are not allowed to fish until 24 Hours passes. Additionally, if you have 20 or more Pieces of fish in your inventory, you will not be allowed to fish. Speak to Gorurug again once the 24 hour delay passes to be able to fish again.
Note: Piece of Fish are character bound. They cannot be dropped, traded, stored in Kafra or stored in Guild Storage. They also have a weight of 1 each.
If you catch a Marlin, Perr (mid_camp 58 131) will trade you 1 Cat Credit for it. This may be repeated at any time.
when you turn in your first batch of pieces of Fish, you will earn 250,000 base exp. Afterward, the exp you gain will depend on the amount of Cat Hand Credits you have.
- 6-14 Credits: 50,000 Base Exp
- 15-24 Credits: 65,000 Base Exp
- 25-35 Credits: 75,000 Base Exp
- 35+ Credits: 85,000 Base Exp

Cat Hand Mining
The Cat Hand's version of Mining varies from heRO's custom mining. After mining, the spot becomes inactive, which means you cannot mine there. You must move to another spot and mine until the spot disappears again. Once you click a mining spot, a 6-second cast bar appears. This cast time may be reduced by 3 seconds if you have Strong Picks in your inventory. There is a 20% chance to lose your strong pick when mining, however.
If you bring 3 Unidentified Minerals to the Cat Hand Mining Agent across the bridge to the west in Midcamp, you will get 1 Cat Hand Credit point and 75,000 experience. This can be done once a day. Be warned however, if you hand in a batch, you are not allowed to mine again for 24 hours. Additionally, if you have 5 or more Unidentified Minerals in your inventory, you will not be allowed to mine. Once the 24 hour delay passes, speak to the Mining Agent to be able to mine again.
Note: Unidentified Minerals are character bound. They cannot be dropped, traded, stored in Kafra or stored in Guild Storage. They also have a weight of 1 each.
