Seek out Ghenirhemin in Hugel at (137, 88), south of the town church, and speak to him to hear his tale. (You must be carrying over 500,000 zeny or else he will dismiss you until you return with a display of your money.)

He speaks of his family history of wealthy and renowned ancestors, noting one in particular. This ancestor was close to the gods by some unknown means. To prove his tale he reveals an old heirloom from his famous ancestor, the Valkyrie Helm!

Ghenirhemin wishes to pass the helm on to someone worthy of its prestige, but it's splendor has faded over time. Accept his request to help restore it to its original condition and he offers it as a reward. After bringing him the items he asks for, the helm is yours in recognition of the accomplishment.
