Heroic Battlegrounds is a custom way to access the Battlegrounds feature of the official servers. It is located in northern Izlude. If you do not know how to get to Izlude, it can be found in the warper menu by selecting Special, and from there selecting the free warp to Battlegrounds.

You must be over level 89 to participate, and the battles cost 3 000 zeny -or- 15 000 zeny.

The Heroic BG Info NPC (izlude 130, 224) will tell you general information about Battlegrounds. Asking him about BG will prompt him to telling the hero about the most basic mode, KvM. You can also ask him about the hourly Battlegrounds schedule, how many points the current character has, and which characters are on the server's 'BG Top 10'. The BG Top 10 lists the characters on the server with the most points. You get nothing for being on this list, and it is simply for show.

--Signing up and Starting

The Heroic Battlegrounds Sign-Up NPC will allow you to start or join the Heroic Battlegronds. To start a Heroic Battleground, talk to the NPC named Heroic BG Signup (izlude 125, 224) with a Battlegrounds Key (ID 10183) in your inventory to start KvM or Flavius. Flavius cannot be started when there are less than 20 minutes until the next hour, and a new KvM cannot be started when there is less than 14 minutes before the next hour.

There is a chance that players will be able to join a Battlegrounds started by a GM. The GM team has access to two more modes, Mini FE woE and Tierra, which players will be able to key soon!

To join a Battlegrounds that has been started, you have 4 minutes from the time the announcement was sent to speak to the NPC named Heroic BG Signup (izlude 125, 224). He will tell you how much zeny you need to have on your person. During the four minutes, you can do whatever you would like. The only requirements are that you have enough zeny to enter, you are online and that you are alive. If you are dead for any reason when the join timer hits zero, you will not be warped.

If there are less than 4 people registered for Battlegrounds, no one will be warped. If it was started by a player, the person who started the battlegrounds mode will be awarded one point.

After being warped, you are sent to a map with a npc that has a chatroom (As pictured above). From here join the chatroom. Once either all the players on the map join the chatroom, or 30 seconds passes, the players will then be warped off to the map belonging to the mode that was selected.

--Modes

KvM is a basic team versus team fight. It consists of two teams, Red versus Blue, that are picked by random. These two teams fight until there is no one on the opposite team standing, or until the 5 minute timer runs out. You need a minimum of four people to start this mode, and a maximum of 10 people can join this mode if it is not last minute. If the mode is the last minute variant, only 12 people can join, first come first serve.

Flavius is a team versus team fight. Heroes work together to take down two guardians, then attack the enemy crystal. The first team to successfully do this twice wins. You need eight people to start this mode at the minimum.

Tierra is a team versus team fight. Heroes work together to break the enemy team's supply depot. Teams can also choose to break the center crystal to have an advantage over the other team as well. The first team to break the other team's supply depot wins. You need eight people to start this mode at the minimum.

Mini FE WoE is a replica of the War of Emperium that is fought between guilds. It is a unique mode found only on the server. Teams work together to first take kill an Emperium. The first team that breaks it then will need to defend it from the other team for five minutes to win. If the other team takes it in this time, the other team wins. You need eight people to start this mode at the minimum.

Rewards NPC is at 132, 222 -Talk to him to see how many points you have. He will also give you the option to talk to him about rewards, in the form of weapons and armor.

Rewards depends on the character you talk to him on. You can only get the rewards that your character at the time can equip. For example, you cannot talk to him on a priest and expect to get a katar. Priests simply cannot equip katars.
