RE: School!! - Valerie12345 - 11-02-2014 okay but you still drew this D; How much time do you spend on the whole thing? :o RE: School!! - Story Teller - 11-02-2014 (11-02-2014, 07:20 PM)Valerie12345 Wrote: okay but you still drew this D; think of drawing something 10 minutes, but as you add more and more animation it goes into exponential number count. So something I would draw that is static in 10 minutes can go up to an hour I guess. Hmmm... for the female I had to make all the parts in different angles which takes about 3 hours or so to draw each one in different layers. Probably 5 hours to fill with base colour and remove excess outlines and pixelated the sides to remove white outlines from matting. After creating the different angles of the character I start to put them together like a doll maker. It might look easy animating but I had to do trial and error. Sometimes I meet problem like the hair bangs not moving which would again take me 3 hours or so to change since I would have to go back to 'each' frame and change all the hair bangs. The extensions is another problem that requires a manual drawing than moving the parts and to make it fluent is to do another trial and error test. I guess it would be 3 days to complete a decent movement of a player character. Not to mention that their are drastic changes happening in game mechanics which would usually affect me to recreate the movement to suit the change. Although game engines are equipped with animating the image inside the software itself. We are doing it the primitive way with character sprite sheets that also require me to put all the animated movement in one PNG file for the programmer to use. Yeap~ that's how busy I am. @_@ RE: School!! - GM-Rahice - 11-02-2014 Sounds to me, that you need more to do. Considering that I have other subjects like making film and editing the sound and creating objects with wood and metal to create a working final flashlight with an interactive means other than a normal switch but by touch. I think I'm pretty busy. @_@ RE: School!! - Story Teller - 11-08-2014 Phew~ Filmed yesterday for the whole day. Now for the guy to edit the video while I go through 255 sound files while editing and remixing them. RE: School!! - Story Teller - 11-08-2014 Holy! I accidentally recorded the time when I was putting a rubberband around the wires of the mic and when an airplane was passing by in the sky and it suddenly sounds like those eerie horror suspense sound when someone is following you behind. RE: School!! - GM-Rahice - 11-08-2014 That reminds me, at work in the ladies restroom there's big fluorescent lights. Today one of them was doing the flickering, crackling pop and buzzing sound like in an eerie bad guy's going to get you because you shouldn't hide in a bathroom moments. RE: School!! - Story Teller - 11-09-2014 Woot woot, I acquired some actors from our filming to be my voice actors in future projects. They said they are fine as long as their names are in the end credits. social networking FTW! Soon I'll be able to make anime shorts with voices. (^@_@)^ RE: School!! - Story Teller - 11-12-2014 I'm obviously cutting corners with the design of enemies now xD RE: School!! - Story Teller - 11-14-2014 It'e getting to the point where we are doing interaction with action by interruption. |
