@Jens; on the bright side, FF allowed them to do it, Glee still won't gain a green light to cover them for their show (thank you FF's, there is still hope in this world). And sadly yes, IM are in their (the way i call it) midlife crisis where they are trying to do dubstep/drum- and bass stuff/shit/something, i loved the legend of the black shawarma however their new album simply stinks, i find it horrible and it makes me want to hug their old albums and wish for the time they still made good music, lets hope this is just a fase they will drop soon and go back to make good music again

I youtubed some stuff from the new album and midlife crisis sounds about alright xD Some bits do have an echo of a remotely Mushroom-ish vibe but as a whole it feels like the early post-Syd Barrett Pink Floyd - not in the music style ofc but that they don't really know what sound they're going with, and experimenting aimlessly
But there's hope for you! Usually, after the "searching who we are" phase, a "back to the roots" phase follows xD Maaaaybe?
In the meantime, you might enjoy (if you haven't already) stuff like Hallucinogen, Man With No Name, perhaps the earlier Juno Reactor etc.
