this! Everything fits perfectly! The action scenes and of course, the plot itself. I rarely cry but this anime made me cry esp. the scene when Hohenheim died.

It was incredibly sad, triumphant, and melancholic all wrapped into a "This ending...turned out to be allllllright."
I loved the series, and I basically marathoned that shit for about four days. Twas a nice experience. Though, according to most animu guidelines, it was very surprising Ed and Winry didn't at least kiss a moment, at the end before he left on the train.
The modesty was nice to see though, refreshing even.
