Omg i just found out that there is an anime style advance wars. its called Gadget trial.

I believe you can find a translated version on the internet, for you to play in the computer, if you wish I can try to see a link for you to download.
Another option is contact one of those gaming and emulation groups so they translate it.

If you want an anime inspired strategy game for portable, i recommend Zone of the Enders: Fist of Mars. There's some not so bad deals at Amazon.com.
and if you like Drama sprinkled with mecha, then Zone of the Enders is the best merge of the two in a game in history

lol there are a few anime games i have. including azumanga daioh fighting game and a few other in my stash, i just have never seen an anime strategy game.
