De-card NPC? - Kyriel - 12-21-2007 I've played on a couple servers, so I have some knowledge of this sort of thing: Is there an NPC on this server that will take the card out of a piece of equipment? It would help me plan my equipment stuffs out. RE: De-card NPC? - Kyouhei - 12-21-2007 no there isnt, and i dont think pandora is planning on it. But I think it would be cool as long as its very expensive(or involves a quest or something) and hard to abuse =/ jus wut i think. RE: De-card NPC? - Sephikus - 12-21-2007 Well on the last server i was on it took a zeny fee, stardust crumb, and a yellow gemstone. It was a flat rate just for attempting to remove the card and each card cost another 2kZ. Also there was a chance it failed thus destroying either the card or the item it was equipped in. RE: De-card NPC? - Former-GM-Mystra - 12-22-2007 There will never be a NPC removing cards on heRO. RE: De-card NPC? - Flossy - 12-22-2007 Why not ? RE: De-card NPC? - Frogboy - 12-22-2007 part of the challenge of the game is to use strategy when creating/customizing your equipment and build. we're actually lucky there's a reset npc in place as planning out for builds is much, much harder that way. so yes, making sure you don't screw up by putting a card in the wrong equipment is part of the "fun" of RO. that or farming for another one to use in the equipment you want to use it in is "fun." >.>;; RE: De-card NPC? - Namine - 12-22-2007 It's part of Gravity's standard of "fun" like what Mr. Frogboy mentions. They have a very unique sense of "fun" like a quest that lasts for days (sign quest)~ RE: De-card NPC? - Flossy - 12-22-2007 Namine Wrote:It's part of Gravity's standard of "fun" like what Mr. Frogboy mentions. Cheers. RE: De-card NPC? - Avalon_Fates - 12-25-2007 but what about things like Hero WIngs, one wrong move and you now have wings that you cant change or edit. Planning there carding well is one thing but haveing absolutly no way of going back is enother, why not makes a system that kills items, so you can choose, save the item or save the cards. Throw it in the middle of nowhere and add a price to it and it might actually be usefull enough to those who need it but nowhere abusable enough for people to just uncard everything they want. |
