Weekly pvp tourneys - Static - 01-30-2008
I liked the Light vs Dark pvp style we played on sunday and was wondering if we could make weekly tourneys for teams of 10 where fighst would be 1x 1vs1, 1x 2vs2, 1x 3vs3, 1x 4vs4(where 1 char can only participate in 1 of these 4 fights meaning all 10 members have their fights once) and if a tie a 10vs10 at the end to decide a winner.
For this suggestion though, I need support from the GM's to do the item check for item restrictions.
This tourney brings PVP to a whole different lvl wich requires new strategies for having to fight with no items other then green pots/panacea's/speed pots(except alchemist with limit of 100 heal pots for throw pot skill), etc. items needed for skill requirements and all pvp equips you want.
If you rather have it per 2 weeks or so i dont mind much, I just liked this pvp style alot and im positive alot of you enjoyed it(regardless of how stacked light side was)
If you choose that you like it, I could explain more idea's i got to make it more interesting.

I second this idea. But I think it should end on a 10vs10 reguardless.

Sure, it's fun, I could help checking items. But be warned, item checking is long and even longer when players don't cooperate.

Perhaps this could be done in a special room where a npc similar to the toh one scan your inventory before letting you in

never done ToH yet but if you can make a npc that can check and register your team that would be great too

I'm glad the event was enjoyed, I thought it would be nice to do it this way, bringing strategy into play as well as making it pretty fair since it's a limited number of people, unlike the 3vs20 mass battle we had at toh sometimes
Yeah technically I "could" make a npc for it, just gotta find time, got other npc to make and other stuff as well

Not sure why you're rejoicing, I actually have tonz of other stuff to do
How did everyone like the map used for the first 6 match of the event? Could be the one used for this when I do have time to get to it.
I guess we'd need a warper npc to warp + check items, and a healer/repairman on the spot.
