For April ToH, it will challenge all participants about their knowledge and familiarity with the world of RO and heRO! Questions and topics will vary on anything within the world of RO as heRO knows it: be it question about monsters, player classes, skills, RO geography, official lore or heRO chronicles.
There will be 3 sections to this event. The allegiance who wins 2 out of the 3 sections will be declared the winner.
Each round will have its own scoring system.

Part 1- 30 Tests of Wits
In this thread here, 30 questions will be posted. Your allegiance has 30 minutes to answer as many of the riddles as possible. Choose a candidate to
send me a PM in forum with as many answers to the riddles as possible on behalf of your allegiance. Think together to answer all the trivia/riddles as much as possible.
The answer to the questions can be anything related to RO: be it items, a name, a location, a monster, a class, a skill, or anything.
The riddle/question itself may refer to the real world, but the ANSWER itself is always something that is within the world of heRO.
You should provide a justification for your answer: in case you have thought of an equally fitting answer to the questions/riddles than my sample answers so that you can be awarded points appropriately.
Your allegiance's first and only submission will be judged as your answer.
There is no bonus or benefit to answering first, as long as you submit your answers within the time limit. You should take as much time as possible to think about your answers. There is no penalty to wrong answers either, so both allegiances should take a shot on all questions.
You are encouraged to use google, RMS, irowiki, and the hero website/wiki to help you.
The allegiance is evaluated on the basis of "number of questions answered correctly per participant." While the allegiance with more participants got more thinking heads together to come up with the answer, the allegiance with less participants do not have as high of a threshold to win.
E.g: The light allegiance has 8 players. The dark allegiance has 14 players. In the round, the light allegiance answered 13 questions. The dark allegiance answered 19 questions. Even though the dark allegiance got more questions right, the light allegiance wins the round because 13/8 = 1.625, while 19/13 = 1.46. The light allegiance has a better ratio of questions answered correctly per participant.
Naturally, in case where both allegiances answered all questions/riddles correctly, then the allegiance with less participants will win. If both allegiance has the same number of players as well, then this part is considered a tie.
Part 2- 30 Minutes Around the World
Remember that part 2 takes place at the same time as part 1.
In this thread here, a series of ingame screenshots are posted here. These screenshots are pictures of me visiting different parts of the world in heRO. Your allegiance will be asked to reproduce as many of the screenshots as accurately as possible.
Post in this thread using your forum account: upload the screenshot to be part of your post, and indicate which allegiance you are from for purpose of this ToH.
- You will not be judged based on your character model: you do not have to use the class of the character provided in the screenshot, or try to imitate hair style/headgear/costumes or anything to do with the character
- You do not have to worry about monsters blocking any view within your screenshot, since they are beyond your control
- It's fine if your screenshot depicts you as dead on the map
- You are judged based on camera angle and what we can see within the screenshot once we exclude character models and monsters
- The speed of how quickly you and your allegiance can reproduce these screenshots do not matter. As long as you have submitted them within the time limit.
- (NEW)Screenshots given are not at full resolution and will not show the minimap. Likewise, you can crop your screenshots to cut out or blur out minimap as you see fit. As long as your screenshot contains everything that my screenshot is looking at, it's fine if your screenshot is on a different zoom level/different crop.
Just like Part 1, the allegiances are evaluated on the basis of "number of screenshots reproduced per participant."
Since this part requires participants to go to different places around the world, it is extremely beneficial if you have unlocked as many warps as possible before ToH. It will be a pity if you recognize where a location is, but it turns out not a single person in your allegiance has unlocked the access to said location.
Be aware that you may die on maps, and exp may be lost.
Naturally, in case where both allegiances reproduced all screenshots, then the allegiance with less participants will win. If both allegiance has the same number of players as well, then this part is considered a tie.
Part 3- Speed Round
This part will take place ingame. This round will only be hosted if the two allegiances are tied from part 1 and 2.
For each round, each allegiance must elect a "captain". I will only accept typed out answers from the allegiance captain as the answer.
I will ask a question ingame. I will only accept the first answer given. The answer must be spelt correctly. The captains must race to type out the answer ingame.
Once a captain answers first and gets the answer correct, the captain must retire and that allegiance must elect a new captain. Anyone who has been a captain, cannot be the captain of its allegiance again.
If neither allegiance can answer the question correctly, then both captains must retire.
The first allegiance to have every one of its participants be a retired captain, wins the round.
Allegiance members are allowed to help the captain via party chat or voice chat. Those who are not the captain, are asked to refrain from typing in public chat.
The allegiance with more members, have more work to do. However, they have more people and have an easier time to think of the answers than the other allegiance.
Tips
- Register in hero forums so you can post screenshots, or PM me the answer for part 1 on behalf of your allegiance
- RMS, irowiki and hero wiki should be open before hand
- If you are a newer, or less geared character without a lot of warps unlocked, you can participate by helping on the Part 1 trivia/riddles, or think of what location may be represented in the screenshots, then direct a more veteran player to go to the location to reproduce the screenshots.
- If riddles and trivia is not your thing, you can always participate by being the screenshot taker and focus on Part 2 instead
- You should figure out how to upload a screenshot to the forums before hand
- Unlock as many warps or location unlocks as possible before this event
