How would that sound?

I like the idea, but then wouldn't most people try to play safe and choose "no prize"?

That is...unless someone wants to win alone while taking bigger risks by choosing "big prize".
Hmm... I guess that's possible too. Icon_twisted

Ooooo, this event with mindgames sounds fun, but I'm with Nayelianne, should make two players who pick no prize get like a small prize or medium prize, too easy to abuse otherwise Icon_biggrin

This is actually a novice based type event I would not mind being a part of :3

RE: Suggestions for events

This has the: "did you drop the golden Bastard sword or the silver bastard sword?" type of feel.

hmmm not really...its just that you have to see if you can tempt people with items in order to betray between themselves...greed has to get over them....its like the value of the price has to compare to the temptation of betray them.

RE: Suggestions for events
Personally, I would suggest something more like this (were this to happen):

Player 1 picks no prize, Player 2 picks no prize = small prize.
Player 1 picks prize, Player 2 picks no prize = player 1 gets big prize
Player 1 picks prize, Player 2 picks prize = no one gets a prize

That is the way to load the event to tempt people into picking prize. Just mute the contestants until it is time for them to PM answers (to make sure they don't discuss it) and then allow the two to PM the host. If one person is greedy, they'll want the big prize over the small (Elu vs Gift Box? Or OPB vs ...something small - rough elu? xD).

I think this would be interesting, though I'm not sure if its really great for an "event" exactly, but who knows.

I think this is more suited for a small event hosted by players for their guild or something rather than as a GM event for the server.

+1

You just can't involve server population scale even if it's a "small" server like heRO. We have 10 people attending events at least, and this event has a lot of "watching" for people. Werewolf you can argue that those who died first also have a lot of watching to do, but you still got to participate in some part of it. This one it's strictly a very small group.
