My friends and I used to do this all the time on other servers we used to play before here.
I made a Techno/Trance based remix pack for us on heRO recently, but it's ~80mb. (I am 100% trance addict!, I even make it.)
Damn, now I wanna release it but I don't wanna seem like I'm competing with Bloodbane or anything. >.>
I figured out how to change the music without deleting the old BGMs or having to back them up.
=p
But yeah enough about mine, is there anyway I can listen to some of these tunes before I download a pack?
Yeah making new bgms is fun and my method is a weird one.Its nice to know a fello "ro DJ" is among us,if youd like to share your music with me in a pm and maybe we can work something out?
Never forget the old days.

You could just make an MP3 for each of the parts, taking 10-20 seconds on each song, and just but them one after the other as a "preview" of the types of music.
Personally I dont really think that'd work since it'll end up pretty predictable and annoying when a song interrupts another... the idea for BGM is to give a unique flavour to a map... isn't it?
