What does hide

Does it cancel the completion of an asura strike, and/or acid demonstration?

its all about timing, if you time it well you can hide from magic, and skills.

also depends on the persons cast time, if its instant, or almost instant, you haven't been 'registered' as hidding no matter how good your reflexes are, and youll get hit. I estimate it takes about .5 sec (after the animation is done) for you to be hidden/cloaked.

However asura strike is compleated, so the person still loses orbs/sp =p, just wont land.

It dodges everything with a visible cast bar, As far as I know.

Only exceptions are Earth Element Magic Attacks.

Stone Curse will hit you while hiding if the person casting it targeted you before you hid or is wearing a Maya Purple / Using Boxes of Sunlight.

Same with Earth Spike.

Heavens Drive will pop you out too.

Completely ignored as long as you're hiding (Except for Heaven's Drive).

That's pretty nice. I never knew it worked like that.

So, hide doesnt avoid: Earth elemental attacks, or instant cast(Or realllllly close to instant cast) acid demos/asura strikes.

Yeah, only thing that can do something about hide is ruwachs and hunters, along with earth magicks. I was just wanting to know for future info :3

Sight also forces you out of hide (but without the damage), and Boxes of Sunlight/Maya Purple Card show where you are.

I've hide dodged asura before, you can no longer hide dodge quadruple strafe though. =(
