Any need for priest/linker?^^

Is there any need for any more support priests/linkers on the server atm? =) That's really all I want to know, so I don't end up making one and not having anyone to party with XD

Linkers I know are always wanted in WoE guilds.
Priest is the most common class here on heRO, but parties looking for priest mains are pretty common too despite that.

because nobody really mains FS priests, most ppl who actually main priests tend to be ME...

and yeah, not enough main FS linkers either it seems, esma is very nice for general pvm and hunting stuff...

Its pretty hard go get into parties with linkers. I have one and I've tried quite a bit. Which is a shame because there are so many places linkers would be useful that people don't realize. WoE is a different story however, linkers are in high demand there.

In PvM, I have a 99 esma linker too, and even I can't see how can I possibly best a sniper in *ANYWHERE.* Even against Tendrilrion who blocks 10 DS shots every 10 seconds, and I'm going against 0 mdef, I'm still outdamaged. Why pick you when there's much more snipers out there and they are far easier to find?

Linkers are only ever going to make it to parties for skills outside of esma. Esma is destined for solo purposes, or act as supportive abilities as you get dragged along in parties for your other abilities.


It's like bolts on profs vs FS profs. Linker faces the same problem, only esma eats up so many points and is so exhausting on SP that you cannot pretend to be "hybrid esma/support build." You are either one, or you are the other.


More strange facts: FS Linker is only wanted on the far end extremes: WoE or super high end mvp/dungeon runs like i-tower. Anything slightly lower tier, the linker is really not needed except to maybe support some gimmicky builds like helping out your friend's new battle sage.

Namine, depending on certain guilds, they will take FS types to other dungeons. I know Eswoo is one of the most retarded skills ever in many dungeons.

But yah, finding parties for it is hard, I wouldn't recommend the linker as a first character unless you are using it to gather funds via Esma.

Mhm, so priests are "semi-asked" for for parties, and linkers mostly for WoE =/
How about Dancers or Bards?
Playing with a friend and looking for some classes that's easy to get parties with =)

Bard will be the easiest class ever to find parties with.
Dancer...not so much, but I don't know why they aren't asked more sometimes.
