some confusion on the newer rule
* AFK Hunting/Leveling will be considered as botting. Same rule will apply for the upcoming Homunculus.

for the upcoming homunculus, as anyone who's played with one on another server knows, is dull dull dull.

Now while I am by NO means advocating that afk leveling a homunculus be allowed I do seek some clarification on this rule.

If you were not afk (i.e. at your computer) but doing something else while your homunculus killed stuff and you returned every 3 to 5 minutes to check up on it, would that be considered botting, or must you be there for every stinking dull second of it while your homunculus kills stuff?
Hi, don't whisper me please.

Well, I guess that is allowed, but if a Gm catches you and you don't answer...

no offense loveless, but I do think I'd like to hear some definate ruling from a GM. It's just I'd like to know if that'll get a player banned or anything before going and doing it.

Then you should pm a GM instead of opening a public thread, where we all can reply.

Directing your post to a GM would also avoid replys as mine.

I guess it would be a better idea to PM a GM, it's just I figured I wasn't the only one wondering this.

Anyways, no matter, go ahead and post and I'll assume what you're saying is true (as you've been here longer then me) unless a GM says otherwise.

RE: some confusion on the newer rule
Well, I am not saying I know it better, and 1 month ain't such a big difference.

BTW, no offense taken, don't worry.

I just know that in other servers, gm's catched people doing this, and even if they replied later, they would already be in Jail or Banned.

I fear that when Homunc come in heRO , there will be a lot of people doing this. And we all must work together to avoid this issue.

Not only Homuc afk hunting, also people that uses some card combos to afk hunt.

It's ok to ask here its the section for questions, indeed other people might be wondering this too.

Afk leveling is forbidden be it hours or 5 minutes. If you have to rest (sit down to recover hp) I think the homunculus can be set to passive?

The precise rules about Homunculus and the AI script are not yet set in stone, but they will be made available before the humun are released.

oh yes you can set homuncts to passive but even on the best custom AIs such as my own they go haywire and attack stuff ANYWAYS if the monsters pass in front of the homunculus. Once a homunculus starts attacking it goes inta-active again.

(This is me coding my OWN AI so yeah that dun work too well in the best case)

In any cause, I'm not afk leveling it cause I AM here. I'm just watching anime on my other monitor while I do, that's not illegal is it?
