while an interesting idea bloody, not one that is very likely to happen, mostly because first tier training is rather easy enough, so making the wings is rather unlikely as most people would rather just get through first tier and not bother with the minimal effect of the wings. the only way i could see this working is if they had to be gotten during first tier training, otherwise you could not get them, and that might not sit so well either.
though getting back to the original train of this thread:
