Exp while vending

how would it be abusable if the exp gain was not nominal enough to even be worthwhile? for example the OC/DC experience system that was in place at one point. that experience was relatively poor in comparison to actually going out and killing the enemies for the items you OC/DC'd. if you gain 1/1000th the amount of exp based on the value of the item vended, it still wouldn't be worthwhile. it would help in the earlier stages of leveling up, but you would literally have to vend almost indefinitely just to make it remotely worthwhile, and in most cases these vendors are alt characters/pack mules for the main characters, so what would be the point in wasting time leveling up an alt just by selling crap with it?
