Really? So a Circle of Protection: Red couldn't prevent the loss of life from a Lightning Bolt?

Or are you referring to loss of life from a card's ability?

Something like...Blood Tithe can't be prevented as it deals with taking life instead of dealing damage. They sound the same but are ruled differently in Magic.

Lightning Bolt, even when targeting a player, is considered Damage. COP:Red still prevents it.

T_T Dont get a chance to play much magic lately my group plays alot of??multiplayer magic so I cant play those types of??games because everyone just gangs up on me @_@. Ah well...

Poly-morph decks are for more feared then they should be.


P.S Blue got a massive power boost. So expect more counter and plan accordingly.
