Being client-sided, it's clear that it's just for the player.

You would need to install the files yourself in order to see it, and it's only for you. Also, everyone's aura gets changed. Now I get to see all the big scary woe champs covered in butterflies! /win

It's probably been done a million times before, but here's a sun aura.



The "finished" sushi aura.??It's still not really satisfactory, mostly because the forced transparency makes it REALLY hard to see on bright/white tiled maps.



And this one I can claim very little original work on: shamelessly ripped and adapted from google images.

Changing your aura, a guide!??It's actually quite easy.

There are 3 relevant files:

auraring.bmp
aurafloat.tga
whitelight.tga (or freezing_circle.bmp for nontrans aura)


#1:??download or create an aura

#2:??place files in this folder:

heRO> data > texture> effect

That's it.??Yep.??I've uploaded the sun/flower/blue snowflake auras here:

Just extract to the folder above and rename the files accordingly (if needed).??If downloading an aura from online, make sure the file formats are as I stated above for each file. If your aura is for a non-trans character, you will need to convert the whitelight file into a bmp and name it freezing_circle instead.[b]
