I made a playlist for WoE, I'll dump it later after I hunt a bit more.

Disturbed, Dragon Force, Queen, Bonjovie, etc. In other words I listen to everything that's on my computer.

Very varied musical themes, a lot which are from games.

Some metal, some swing, I don't put much concideration into groups themselves but more into which song I pick.

I enjoy listening to some cowboy bebop or wolf's rain while playing RO.

hum, rarely i like to run music if anything i dislike sound in battles.

however since you asked, here are a few i had playes during woe:
guilty gears- holy order
getbackers -awakening and rage
Phantom of inferno - gekkou by hassy
gothic anime music like yuki kaijura's undertow from le' portrait de pettit cossette
elfenlied OST
from time to time for woe i run these music but i did replace many of the original ragnarok soundtrack with melancholy or gothic/death or other musics in any case.

i enjoy the tingle of bloodlust or the sorrow of the deathly music during woe.

hrm you should check out the music of Midnight Syndicate
it's all instrumental, dark music. I've gotten rave reviews of it, looking forward to it myself.
I also like Transsiberian Orchestra stuff.

yes i hate mukas very much. their sound effect sounds very much like as tho someone got themself a rusty kitchen knife and scrapes it on another piece of metal to make that horrible screeching noise.

and about 90% of the time i switch my music off when playing a game.
