Ok so this is weird. I was playing about 5 minutes ago then my nephew said he can't log in on his account. I logged out of mine. I tried logging in but I couldn't cause it said, wrong user id or password. Now I tried checkin in control panel, then suddenly it says "The IP address you are behind is banned".
Ok these are the things I've done before that happened.
-My nephew's account got hacked for certain reasons
-A while ago we retrieved it through changing the password
-I did everything on my pc
-After that all is well
-I gave him his account and he played it on his PC (he's in another place)
-I play my account
-I pm him and he's not online
-Suddenly he tells me that the message "someone recently logged in this account"
-I thought it was normal cause the net connection sometimes mess with that
-So I told him to log back in
-He receives a message "failed to connect"
-I told him to keep doing it but nothing happens
-So I logged out then tried to log in his account
-I keep getting the message "wrong user ID or password"
-I went to control panel then suddenly the messay "The IP address you are behind is banned"
ooookk. I have no idea what happened. I don't think I did anything wrong. I was just piloting my nephew's account. I wasn't dual clienting either.
I heard from a friend that sometimes IP addresses change or something like that, and there's a chance you end up with a banned IP. But I still dont get what happened. Any thoughts? :'<
Ok that's weird I can log back in my control panel again O_O

It seems that my nephews account's password got changed again. But we just changed it a few hours ago. O_O does this mean there's someone monitoring his PC? cause I changed his password on my pc
His IGN a while ago was Spirit Guardian. He was doing the merch quest. Before we changed his password to retrieve it, he didnt have any characters in the account. He deleted all of them. We recently created the Character Spirit Guardian.
And no he isn't in the list and I already checked there a while ago.
I am now able to log in my account. As for his account. It keeps saying "wrong user ID or password" and in the CP "invalid log in credentials"
I just recently changed his password. And now we cant log back in in his account. O_O omg what's happening :<
Other than the possibility of the password being changed after you did, I can only think of you having the wrong password to begin with.
It might be possible to have an admin reset that account's password with a few validation that the account is indeed his'. I had the same method done with one of my accounts but I don't know if things will go as smoothly this time.
EDIT: At any rate, we can only speculate here. Things will go faster if you send a formal ticket.

I'll try changing it again and observing. If it things go smoothly then there's a big chance that his PC back home is littered with malware and shit T_T oh glob why!?
