Reviving old thread with relevant post! I honestly feel anime is going through some sort of resurgent period at this time, and there is so much great stuff to watch that's come out in the past 3-5 years or so.
I'm currently watching the following, along with a quick opinion on each:
-Yona of the Dawn : Went into this one on a whim, and wound up becoming a huge fan.
-Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE!: Hilarious, fun, and actually surprisingly good with character development. It's more than just "boy Sailor Moon."
-Hunter x Hunter (newer version): Enjoying it so far, on episode 21 of 148.
-Sailor Moon Crystal: It became a train wreck to me after episode 12 or so. Too much deus ex machina for me. Second story arc is not proving to be much better so far. Mainly watching to see if it will actually get worse, but would prefer it to end in an awesome way.
-Digimon Adventure 02: Re-watching this and loving it. I think I love it more on this go around than when watching it even as a teenager! Digimon Emperor is actually a pretty great villain for someone whose just a teen.
I am always confused by the thought that when you necro something, is it considered necro-ing if it was in the top post, but it's a few dates old or...
Anyways, relevant reply to thread: Orange is the New Black and Haikyuu!!
