Character Deletion
Okay, the waiting to confirm the deletion of a single character seems a bit contrived. Especially if there are novice events going on where you need to delete the novice afterwards.

Currently, the waiting time is 24 hours from the start of the deletion process. Not dropping any names, but I know some servers that drop that wait time down to something like say 10 minutes.

Would it be possible to change the wait time on character deletion?

RE: Character Deletion
I agree with this. Perhaps it's just a pet peeve of my own, but I can't stand waiting any period of time to delete a character.

I understand that it could be used for security purposes - but, if someone has my account info to delete one of my characters, what's to stop them from just dropping all of my items instead of waiting 24 hours to possibly delete a character of mine?

I understand that something has to be done to secure players' accounts, but a 24 hour wait period feels a bit too much imo.

RE: Character Deletion
I don't know about other players but I know I stopped going to novice events because of this right now...So yeah, changing the delete time or just putting it back the way it was before would be a nice change.

RE: Character Deletion
You know when Matinee and Vietnam ask for PvP Character Deletion? The GM's added a 24h delay to protect them from losing everything (because during that 24h, they can cowardly click "abort")

I've also found this limiting my participation in novice events.
If it can't be removed for whatever reason, I'd propose giving the novice event kafra a reset option, where you get teleported back to the novice entrance and all your stats/skills/items/equipment/zeny/etc gets reset as if you had started a new character.

RE: Character Deletion
Coincidentally, the GM team talked about Character Deletion waiting time yesterday and this morning. If I recall correctly, it was decided to make low level chars be able to be deleted quickly. However, higher leveled chars, those above Lv 50 or so, would require waiting. :P

RE: Character Deletion
Is the waiting period still 24 hours? Or has it been reduced at all?

RE: Character Deletion
This change is not yet applied to real server, it's in short testing on GM testing server.

But currently it was decided for following periods:
Level Time
0~50 5min
51~85 12h
86+ 24h
