Stunlock
I searched the forums quite a bit, and I found nothing that talks about the, in my opinion, exagerate stunlock that you get in this server when you are hit, let me explain:

When you get hit, also by one monster you will be blocked for 1 second or more, this gives the time to him to attack you again, and again. Yes, it happened, at least to me that I died versus one single monster because I couldn't run from him, I was blocked in my square and couldn't do anything.

Now i am a Sage, and I've been always able to train at Glast Heim prisons without too much trouble, but in this server i need 1 or 2 hits to get stunlocked and die.

What am i asking is: If this is normal, or if something will be done about it.

Thanks for the future replies.

RE: Stunlock
well, i agree, specially on mage classes.
even if you click so fast to run away from an enemy, they still get to hit you
even after getting one cel away. imagine that in a mob.

Its as if these critters have magnets in them.

RE: Stunlock
This is how the server is set up with our current settings and *outdated I know* SVN. I haven't checked in the new one if the stunlock is any different. I know it makes it harder to hunt, but it's just a little getting used to. It's harder when you come from somewhere else and it was different, but after some time you'll probably get used to how the monsters react here.

RE: Stunlock
It makes it impossible in some areas. I'll have to change build to a battle sage to keep on leveling.

But the real question is: Is the server meant to be like that? Or something will be done about it? Because in my opinion this is a bug.

RE: Stunlock
There actually is a way around this. Unfortunately though, I can't quite tell you how to do it. If you're clicking and waiting for him to move, you'll probably end up stunlocked. However, there's a small time frame, after you get hit, where if you click to move right then- you *will* move. It will probably still hit you once more if you were at full on melee range, but if you time the next click too, you'll be out of harms way.The part I can't explain though, is the timing. Icon_sad

Best I can say is either try to discover that little window, or perhaps make good use of f-wings?

Mages get stunlocked very easily. That's why Firewall is essential.

I know how to use firewall/vertical firewall I've always played with mages on official servers and in other low rates. You usually get hit when you mob at prison and in a normal situation you just run and prepare the next firewall, but here you can't, you'll just stand there waiting for the mobs to kill you.

I'll just be a battle sage i guess...

Do you hold the mouse button down when you're trying to run or click constantly? Icon_suprised

First Aid. Overlap the stun animation with one that doesn't stun, and you're good to go. As priest I can escape 3 monsters in the prisons just by healing at the right time. It's just something you get used to.
