some...strange...problem?

uhh guys/girls...firstly hi!
im planning on playing this server..it looks fun and all but i dont seem to have it work...i DL'd latest kro/sak and patched all of them to the max..when i open sak the korean "play" button is active...DL'ed the latest (june 08) mini installer 081206 and extracted everything in the same folder as my ro. Ran the heRO patcher and let it patch. Again, the play button is active. But when i open the game (heRo.exe OR from the patcher) it freezes. I dont even see that login screen....
so uhm..i was lookin for a fun low rate server for quite a time.at last found it but cant seem to play.....aaand please dont tell me to DL the heRO full installer....my net sux hard ._."

Ok. Can you tell me the size of the file sdata.ini ? And which kro/sak did you get?

sdata.grf is 1.07 gb's aaaand i dont see a sdata.ini at all o_O"
and both are 0305...updated

1.07 gb sounds ok to play, could be a bit bigger however, was there any errors when you patched?

when patching there was no errors...it all went quite well except for the slowness(which is 'coz of my net).

Run setup.exe and check that the graphic card setting are ok. Try again, if it still doesn't work, run setup.exe again and disable sounds.

Maybe you don't have permission to run programs, are you on a limited windows user (aka not the administrator)?

Which OS are you running?

windose axe pee service pack 2....one and only user with the one and only account..thats getting frustrurating...(cant type, yea)

edit: what about i use another servers stuff and change that sclientinfo.xml?

That's not very recommended considering we have lots of customs.

The fact that setup.exe isnt working is bugging me, do you still have the original installers. Try perhaps re-installing ro/sak in another folder, then run setup.exe, then install the hero mini patcher.
