Seriously I don't see a reason other than MGS (Final Fantasy doesn't count anymore) to get a PS3.

I'm good with my Xbox360 and now we get Final Fantasy too, awesome.

Well Resistance2 seems really good and MAG sounds promising in terms of what they are offering but we shall see...either way I'm happy with my PS3

I've never played a Final Fantasy outside of the Playstation realm. What would I do on a 360?
Or ona computer???.. I mean.. WTF a PC Final Fantasy?!

Hmm, I don't think it's going to be as dramatic as all that. On the surface, it would seem that the loss of exclusivity would indeed wound Sony to a crippling degree. However, think of it this way:

The western side of the world, as sales are now, is mostly dominated by 360 sales. A fair portion of the people with a 360 will be interested in buying the game. For the people who bought a PS3 instead of a 360 (console loyalty, fanboyism, whatever the case) will buy it for the PS3. The point? Japan is very heavily dominated by PS3 sales, and over there the 360 is more or less tanking comparatively. All this has really done is let 360 owners get a taste of current-gen Final Fantasy (for those who have never owned a Sony console), while PS3 sales will skyrocket in Japan when the game is released. The end result being that since Versus is so far staying as an exclusive, it could very well tempt 360 owners into buying a PS3 because of their experience with the Final Fantasy game they were able to play.

The shift won't be an exodus by any means, but I think it's less of an arrow in Sony's chest and more of a thorn in their side.

That's my prediction, anyway.

All I have to say is that there are other RPG titles that may be for the PS3. You gotta include Kingdom Hearts III, and the possible Remake of FF7

Anyway, I don't think this is going to kill a console. Just upset a lot of Sony fans (and probably a few folks up in Sony's marketing department).

Oh wow. The graphics are fairly nice...I can't say that they're that big of a step up from the PS2's graphics, but they seem to flow pretty nicely between the pre-rendered sceens, and the game. The game itself looks like it flows pretty nicely. Another reason that I may be getting a PS3. LOL, now I have to get that HD tv XD
